Systemeio 101 - How to add an anchor link to jump to a specific part of your page

Howto navigate to a (specific) section on a funnel page from the same page in Systeme.io? Read on

Hey All, I was recently working on a new funnel page in Systeme.io, that was a very simple all in one page vs the multiple pages, I have traditionally created. Simple equals great right. I believe so, and I endeavor to simplify everything when possible, but never at the expanse of meaning or experience. Now because I was using a single, page, I had to link to sections within the page, but I was not sure how.

Well no surprise, Systeme.io makes it very easy - with two ways to do so:

1. Using HTML code:
a)go to the page editor, add an HTML element just above or below the location where you want the link to take the visitor.
b)Then, enter the code <div id="whatyouwant"></div> in the HTML.

Note: This code will not display anything on the page.

c)save the changes.

d)copy the page's link (the URL Path)

e)add a button or link on the page, and in the URL field, paste the page link you just copied, followed immediately by #whatyouwant
Result: when someone clicks the button or link, they will be taken directly to the HTML anchor you created.

2. Using an element's ID attribute:

a)find the ID attribute of the element you want to link to. For exampe a Section on you page.

Click on the element to display its settings in the left panel of the editor and scroll down to the bottom left. copy the ID attribute.
b)copy the page's link (the URL Path)

c) After copying the page link, add a button or link to the page. In the panel on the left side of the editor, paste the link into the URL field, followed immediately by the #AttributeID .
Result: when someone clicks the button or link, they will be taken directly to the HTML anchor you created.

both options above work great; option 2 is very simple.
